Nature Finds its Way

berkanna76

Photoshop, uh, finds a way.

Strongbad23

Yea. “Stump suckers” or “sap suckers” typically grow on the outskirts of the stump.

nonogap

Yeah, no way a sucker is sprouting from the heartwood, which has no active cells even when the tree is alive

leafdisk

Actually it can work if this tree isn't an offspring, but from a seed which has grown in the crack of the trunk. It's a rare sight in the forest but not impossible.

nonogap

True didn’t even think of that

berkanna76

Or that it just looks like a mini full grown tree.

firebearmanpig

This tree doesn't skip leg day.

Other-Arugula7018

Interestingly!

loveitorleafit

I am groot

Eto1474

Lol

blastborn

Even if that was real the tree would be screwed. They can grow like that for awhile but typically die off from the ground up as the original stump rots

zeroone

You can do this with a carrot.

ianitor

it's the frog DNA

I3ilbo_Baggins

Imagine growing up in the severed corpse of your mother.
